First Lotte Lamp Form w/ Rare Tapering Shade & in Rare Robin’s Egg Blue

Categories: , ,

This incredibly rare tall and elegant rocket shaped Lotte Bostlund ceramic lamp was one of their first forms made and is in the very rare robin’s egg blue.  Additionally, it also has the very early fiberglass shade which tapers in at the bottom, making for a super elegant tall and stately statement.  The shade is original and has the hand applied fiber to the outside of the shade, but had a repair at some point that was well done so that the shade is sealed and functions as originally intended (you can vaguely see in the closeup photo of the shade).  Wired for North American standards with a 2 prong plug, the lamp holds a regular base 3 way or trilight bulb, allowing for 3 brightnesses.  The shades are famous for the wonderful organic glow they cast when lit. The ceramic base has no damage, cracks or chips.  Dimensions:  12″ diameter x 43″ high.
