Teak Flip Top Minimalist Partner Desk By Lovig – attr to Jens Quistgaard

Categories: , ,

This super clever designer flip top desk was designed by Peter Lovig Nielsen and is often attributed to Jens Quistgaard.  The upper section of the desk with 2 finger jointed drawers and pigeon holes serves as extra storage for the desk front paired with 4 additional drawers with solid wood construction and crossed circle pulls at the front of the desk.  The left drawer has a small segmentation to assist in storing smaller items and the 3rd drawer is locking with the original key.  The base is open and airy – yet note the diamonded detailing both on the inside and outside of the legs.  At the back of the desk is open display shelves.  To convert this to a partner desk, allowing leg room for an additional person to seat on the back of the desk, simply flip over the raised desk portion and the drawers are reversible so can be used in either position.  Clever, timeless and minimalist.  Restored and in gorgeous condition.  Dimensions:  63.75″W x 28.75″D x 34″H (as a partner desk it measures 63.75″W x 38″D x 29″H).
