Teak Cubic Planter / Side Table by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard

This lovely cubic and minimalist teak planter was designed by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard in the 1960s. Featuring an interesting boxed base with arced cut-aways which make for an oval reveal in the base. The planter still has the original zinc liner in terrific condition which has been painted in black. This beauty also comes with a custom cut glass top to convert the planter into a side table with a shadow box where you can display sand and shells or photos under the glass top.  Freshly oiled and in wonderful condition.  Dimensions: 17.5″W x 17.5″D x 17.75″H.
