Super Rare Rosewood Dining Table w/ 2 Leaves by Gustav Bahus

Categories: , ,

This incredibly gorgeous rosewood dining table seats 8 to 10 people with the 2 leaves added in – which store under the table when not in use. Beyond the incredibly smart design is the gorgeous style! Designed by Alfaar Seth for Gustav Bahus, Norway, in the 1960s. Note the unique rounded rectangular design and the excellent tonal match of the leaves to the table top. Finally, the leg design – the tapering conical legs screw into contoured cylindrical corners on the table apron – again, a very rare and attractive design feature. In stellar vintage condition – note it has been photographed with one and with 2 leaves (no photos without the leaf). Dimensions: 35.5″D x 28.75″H x 51″W(no leaf)/86.5″W(both leaves in use.) PLEASE NOTE OUR POLICY: if you purchase a set of dining chairs with a dining table, we deduct 10% off the cost of the chairs. The set of 6 rosewood Moller Model 71 dining chairs with new black papercord seats pictured with the table are also available (see separate ad.)
