Peter Lovig Nielsen Teak Boomerang Desk Back Bar & Shelf

Category:

This spectacular Danish Modern teak paisley shaped or kidney shaped desk was designed by Peter Lovig in the 1960s. In stellar condition and with lovely grain, it features flared top edges on the left and back, 3 drawers with beech frame construction and dovetail joints – each with a carved elongated pull – and the top drawer has a smaller slider pencil drawer on top. The Afromesia sword blade crossed legs give it an airiness – braced by brass and carved wood diagonal braces. Finally, the back has an open display shelf and a locking bar with a diagonal shelf for glasses top and bottom, leaving room in front for tall bottles, allowing you to face the room and not the wall. Note the pretty painted clovers on the mirrored back. The skeleton key is included and also locks the top drawer. What a beauty! Branded beneath with the makers’ mark. Dimensions: 59″W x 35″D x 29″H.
