Peter Lovig Nielsen Rare Rosewood Boomerang Desk Back Bar & Shelf

Categories: , ,

This spectacular Danish Modern super rare rosewood paisley or boomerang shaped desk was designed by Peter Lovig Nielsen for Dansk in the 1960s. In stellar condition and with absolutely killer grain throughout, it features flared top edges on the left and back, 3 drawers with wood frame construction and dovetail joints – each with a carved elongated pull. The sword blade sleigh legs give it an airiness – braced by brass and carved wood diagonal braces. Finally, the back has an open display shelf and a locking bar with a clover etched mirror and a diagonal shelf for glasses top and bottom, leaving room in front for tall bottles.  The finished back allows you to face the room and not the wall. The skeleton key is included and also locks the top drawer. What a beauty! Branded beneath with the makers’ mark. Comes with a custom cut glass top so you never need to worry about water marks or anything for the life of the desk!  Dimensions: 59″W x 34.5″D x 29″H.
