Pair Restored Teak FD183 Armchairs by Arne Vodder in Cobalt Blue Wool

This absolutely exquisite pair of restored teak armchairs were designed in the 1950s by Arne Vodder for France & Daverkosen.  Featuring stunning sculptural details throughout – such as the contoured armrests with a subtle bevel, the rounded tops of the back legs which support the swiveling backrest with brass ball spacers.  The side braces flare towards the back, the front legs taper before the armrests, and the front and back braces have curved cutaways to support the floating seat.  Fully restored, reglued, freshly oiled, new quality foam and a delicious cobalt blue Melton felted wool with hand stitched back rests.  The pivoting backrests and curved seat make for divine comfort – the wool is a stunning contrast of the rich patina of the wood – branded with the makers mark under one of the chairs.  Ideal as desk chairs, occasional chairs, or to use for the guests to sit opposite your desk in your home or work office.  Dimensions:  25″W x 22″D x 18.5″H(seat)/32.5″H(top) – note the armrests are 25.5″H at the back).  Price is for the pair.
