H.W. Klein for Bramin Teak Dining Table & 6 Chairs w/ Finger Jointed Corners

This killer Danish Modern teak dining table was designed by H.W. Klein for Bramin in the 1960s. Featuring a rare design, with the legs remaining at the corners when the table is closed or when it is expanded to add the leaf. This allows the feature of the rosewood finger jointed corners, with a subtle carved channel beneath the top of the leg to really stand out. Note how the table apron arcs, narrowing at the center – which is continued along the leaf apron beautiful. All wood glides work like butter and it has been restored and is in amazing condition, with an excellent tonal match between the table top and the leaf. Please note the leaf conveniently stores inside the table when not in use. Dimensions: 35.25″W x 28.25″H x 53″L(leaf stowed(/88.5″L(leaf in use).

The amazing set of 6 quality built teak dining chairs were also designed by H.W. Klein for Bramin in the 1960s and were designed to go with the dining table, and includes two rare arm chairs. They feature the amazing rosewood finger joint details at the corners of the sculptural backrests as well as on the front of the armrests on the pair of head chairs. In amazing condition, freshly oiled, reglued as needed, and reupholstered with new foam and a lovely multi-toned green tweed. Please note that one of the arm chairs is a slightly different model without the flared top at the back of the backrest. We bought them this way and never even noticed until I photographed them today. PLEASE NOTE: as is our policy, we have already deducted 10% off the cost of the chairs as they are sold with the dining table.

Also of note, we also have the matching buffet (see separate listing), also designed by HW Klein as part of the set. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to own a complete matching set! We are offering a 10% discount on the sideboard if it is purchased with the dining table and 6 chairs.
