Exquisite early Arne Vodder angled CREDENZA in TEAK & OAK 8 drawers

This is an exquisite early teak and oak credenza designed by Arne Vodder in the 1950s. The ultimate in quality, it is all wood construction with a teak body, with oak framed double sliding doors and an oak base, the interior has wood with a dramatic grain and solid beech drawers with finger joints. The 4 lower drawers have beech drawer frame construction and teak fronts with dovetail joinery. Even the door glides are solid wood. The unique design has the front taper back starting above the lower span of drawers, such that the top two interior beech drawers are cut-back and are less deep to accommodate the design. The rest of the interior has 2 two shelves that run two-thirds of the way. A dramatic piece with a nice compact footprint and impeccable construction.
