1950s Danish Teak Tambour Credenza by Ib Kofod-Larsen with Finished Back

Category:

This absolutely impeccable, top quality Danish modern teak tambour credenza or buffet was designed by Ib Kofod Larsen in the 1950s. Featuring a mitred front edge molding detail that flares to meet the legs at the base, both on the front and back, an iconic Kofod Larsen design detail. The right bank of four drawers with flared vertical drawer pulls, solid teak drawer fronts with dovetail joins, with the top drawer also having a half depth upper slim line felted tray that slides front to back. The tambour doors open easily and disappear inside the cabinet (the unit is double walled to protect the doors) revealing three adjustable shelves. In amazing condition and a super rare find. With the exquisitely finished back, this would serve well as a room divider in an open concept dwelling.
